"Horrific targeted bullying" - oh, like you bitching about Verhalen non-stop all over public social media for over a year? He had to shut off comments on most of his fic several months before you did, dear, because HE was the one getting hate. I don't want to say "nobody's sent Spiced hate" because I don't know that, I'm not there, I haven't, Verhalen says he hasn't left any nasty comments or messages and I believe him, Verhalen has been off doing his thing writing like a madman all this time, and you're the one who can't stop talking shit and pretending he's bullying you, Spiced.
Spiced is the biggest fucking bully in Tolkien fandom and she's playing the victim here.
By the way, "an author hardly anyone reads"? I did some looking, and here's her three most recently updated fics:
A Crown Of Ash (complete) - 28 chapters, 1772 hits. Average 63 hits/chapter.
Shadow Blood (last updated June) - 11 chapters, 885 hits. Average 80 hits/chapter.
The Once And Future Kings (last updated Aug 26) - 17 chapters, 2146 hits. Average 126 hits/chapter.
Sure, Spiced. Nobody reads you. Uh huh.
Also isn't it weird how Spiced shut off her comments and claims she's "just writing for herself" after this? And took the "ageism" complaint out of her profile after this? It's like Spiced is reading my journal or something.
